Here are two pictures of Mandy's second attempt at making me a wallet made from duct-tape. It utilises a couple of rare-earth magnets to close the wallet securely.

This is actually better than my old wallet and that's where the zip came from! This was inspired by an article in Make magazine.

These wallets sell for about £12.50 and go under the brand 'ducti' and whilst they may look professional, I really like the homemade edginess of my wallet and the fact that it is made to my specifications. By Mandy's third attempt it will be even better and then it will be onto making bags and clothes!
